The hospital has digital radiograph equipment, full in house lab testing plus a complete referral laboratory. We do most of the procedures and surgeries in the hospital, and, if need be, we have a close association with all of the specialty fields.

A graduate of Colorado State University, Dr. Golden opened and has operated the clinic since 1975 at its present location. He is also a marine mammal and exotic animal consultant and has worked with Sea World for over 20 years. Dr. Golden oversees the Rady Childrens Hospital pet therapy program of which his Pug "Bella" is a participant. Morris and Toonces, his personal cats, are his two favorite felines.
