At Long Island Bird & Exotics Veterinary Clinic, we care about the health and well-being of your pets as much as you do. Specializing in exotic animals like birds, small mammals, and reptiles, we treat pets in Long Island and New York City's five boroughs. We have a talented & caring team of doctors led by board-certified avian specialist, Dr. Shachar Malka. After completing veterinary school, Dr. Malka continued his training through exotic animal internships & a residency for his specialization at U.C. Davis in California. After working for the Humane Society of New York, he started his own non profit, Rift Valley Wildlife Clinics, in 2015 before opening LIBEVC a year later. Our clinic specializes in exotic pets and is the only hospital in our area offering endoscopic procedures and cat scans to these unique species.
