We are pleased to offer the convenience of scheduled appointments to our clients and their pets. We will try to fit in sick and urgent cases as needed but must call ahead. All surgical procedures are by appointment only. Privately owned and operated by a resident of Newtown since 1936! Whether you know it or not, non-veterinary, corporate ownership of veterinary hospitals, clinics and specialty hospitals is becoming more and more common. By remaining privately owned we feel we are better able to put the patient's well being ahead of the bottom line. Our focus is on our patients and their owners not on profit and meeting corporate quotas. Newtown Veterinary Hospital, LLC is a comprehensive small animal practice dedicated to improving the quality of life for all pets by offering the highest quality medical, anesthetic, surgical care, and pain management administered with love and compassion. We also strive to educate all pet owners -- our clients as well as the public at large. Unlike many general practices we employ multiple credentialed veterinary nurses and employ several doctors who were in practice before specialty hospitals became so common. This gives us the ability to offer advanced care and procedures many practices can not offer and do so at a cost significantly below specialist's prices. We are not board certified specialists but have experience with many advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. If you prefer a specialist we are happy to refer you.
